My name is Ryan. I was born May 24, 1979 in Houston, Texas. When I was 7 my family packed up and moved to Northern Virginia, right outside Washington, D.C.
Now an adult, I run two small businesses. My online advertising and web development company is RG Media, Inc.. RG Media runs a website dedicated to Online College and University Education, College-Pages.com.
Along with my parents, I also run a Handyman Business servicing the Northern Virginia area.
I used to be a software architect and Linux systems administrator for a small government contracting company in northern Virginia, but I got the self employment itch, and it was time to move on.
My friend Chunky and I run the highly acclaimed site AskRyan.com – Where the only stupid question is the one you ask! It’s won hundreds of awards, all awards were issued by me and Chunky.

Here’s anther little tidbit: I used to be one of the main developers involved in the open-source document management project Epiware, as well as help contribute to Epiware’s new product SSLBridge.
Here’s a photo of my cat Spot doing what she does best, destroying crap. (she’s also good at pissing on the carpet, but I don’t have a photo of it yet).
Sadly, Spot passed away in 2008, she will be missed.
