Step 9: Solder the bad connections
|
|
Now it's time to clean up the broken solder points and re-solder. First take your hot soldering iron and do your best to remove the existing solder on the bad points. Now take a small screw driver or something with a tiny sharp edge and do your best to scrape around the points you are fixing to clean up what solder is left. They key here is that you want all the points to be shiny and 'clean' looking so that when you add new solder it has something to stick to and creates a solid connections.
